Launch of the NEW Barco ClickShare Conference systems

We have recently read an interesting article in an industry publication that we wanted to share with you!

Barco Clickshare Conference Systems

As featured in rAVe [pubs] the Barco ClickShare Conference system is a great solution that allows you to join any type of video conference from your own device (laptop) whether that be a huddle space, a meeting room or a board room. Essentially, with the ClickShare Conference you replace your PC in the room (the one you put in there to run Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams meetings) and instead plug your USB camera, mic and speaker into the ClickShare Conference. Then, connect to your meeting just like you do when you have meetings on your laptop and wirelessly share that meeting to the screens in the room. This means you no longer require the need for the UCC (“Unified Communications and Collaborations”) “room” software and dedicated UCC PC in the room running the “room” software). Instead it is all done wirelessly via the ClickShare Conference.

Barco ClickShare have announced three new Wireless Conferencing models to the range: the CX-20, the CX-30 and the premium CX-50.  The CX-20 connects wirelessly to existing room cameras, speakerphones and audio, saving time and maximising efficiency. Next in the new range is the CX-30 which can turn your small to medium-sized meeting rooms into an advanced meeting and conference facility. Lastly, the high-end CX-50 is a premium wireless conference system, connecting in less than seven seconds and is able to deliver presentations in full HD without any hassle caused by cables.

On paper this seems to be a great addition to the UCC space and a meaningful product offering for those already used to Clickshare’s class leading performance and ease of use. We hope to see this in action next week at ISE2020 and will report back then.

If you would like to experience either this new Conference product or the latest Clickshare BYOD (“Bring Your Own Device”) system then please get in touch.
